Q. What are your end of tenancy cleaning working hours?

Q. How long does the cleaning usually take?

We estimate that a full end of tenancy cleaning service can take between 3 and 5 hours, however, this can take longer if the property is in a particularly dirty condition. You will be notified on the day if it will take longer.

Q. How long does it take for the carpets to dry?

Q. Do I have to defrost my fridge and freezer in advance?

A. Yes, we ask all customer to defrost their fridge and/or freezer at least 24 hours before the service begins. If this is not done, your cleaning team may not be able to clean it.

Q. Do you remove of old carpet stains?

A. Our basic carpet cleaning service removes the most common stains. However, if the stain was not treated immediately then it may not be able to remove from the fabric or carpet pile. Q. Is parking or congestion charges included in the quote?

A. Any parking or congestion charging is an additional charge to your end of tenancy clean and may need to be paid on the day. Your cleaning team will do their best to find free parking or ways to avoid the congestion charge, however, this is not always possible, especially in a busy and congested city like London.

Q. What white goods or appliances do you clean as standard?

A. Our tenancy cleaning checklist includes a deep clean of your property including a single oven and standard white goods such as a washing machine and fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle (external)

Q. Do I need to be in the property when the cleaning is taking place?

A. We would advise customers not to be present during the end of tenancy cleaning, this is so that the cleaners have all the space they need to clean the property properly.

We would strongly advise that all personal possessions have been removed from the property and that you are present at the end of the service to do full inspection and make payment (where applicable) If you are unable to be present, please talk to your cleaning team on the day about posting the keys back through the letterbox or, for an additional charge dropping them off at your estate agent.

Book the cheapest end of tenancy cleaning company?

You won’t struggle to find cleaning companies offering ‘cheap end of tenancy cleaning in canary wharf’. Make sure you read our article on why it’s important to weigh up all your options.

You don’t want to choose the wrong company for the job and end up with lots of additional costs and even worse deposit deductions. It’s not unheard of for tenants to be charged twice for the cleaning because it wasn’t carried out correctly the first time round.

Can I do move out cleaning myself?

Of course there is nothing stopping you from doing this. It takes on average 12 hours for 3 cleaners to carry our an end of tenancy clean on a 1 bedroom flat. Surely you can think of better things to do with your time?

Also remember that most tenancy agreements require a professional cleaning company to be used and the landlord or agent will often require a receipt to prove this.
